I am a halfy, my mother is Cuban and my father is Polish
Who takes all the pictures of you?
If I am not using a remote my sister Alysia or my husband takes the photos, with A LOT of direction from me.
How long have you and your husband been married?
We got married on 11-11-11. It was a SUPER small wedding and we had the most lovely photographers, Live It Out Photo. I could not suggest anyone more.
Did you go to college, what did you study?
I did, I went to Naropa University and studied creative writing and literature with a minor in visual arts.
Where are you from orginally?
I grew up in Brooklyn, NY. I went to highschool in the Poconos in PA and I moved to Boulder, CO when I was 17 to go to college. I have been here ever since with a few lapses when I lived in Prague for 6 months and upstate New York for a year and a half.
What camera and lenses do you use and what do you use to edit them?
I have many many cameras! My main DSLR is the Canon 60d and the two lenses I use most are 50mm 1.4 and 10-22mm 3.5-4.5. I also own an instax mini, a polaroid one 600, a holga, a diana mini, a canon ae-1, and a canon t2. For some of my professional gigs I rent a lot of different equipment as well.
For editing I use lightroom 4 and VSCO film 01, 02, and 03. I also have photoshop elements 10.
Who designed your website?
I did! With the help of google you can learn anything!
Do you crochet all your own products or do have help?
I crochet everything myself. I will occasionally have someone help with packaging and shipping if it is a big order.
When did you learn how to crochet, who taught you?
I first learned to knit when I was very young. My grandmother Rose taught me. When I was in middle school one of my dearest friends Tiffany taught me how to crochet and I have been doing it on and off ever since. I got really serious about it years ago when D and I were stuck inside our then upstate New York apartment through a awfully cold winter.
